Summer Singers

Description:	We are an intergenerational, all-male, all-volunteer, nonprofit Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an International organization of over 15,000 voices. We have about 30 members, ages 27 to 90+ that enjoy singing. We welcome men of all ages, though we require a responsible adult to accompany anyone under the age of 17. We would like to share our hobby with other singers whom we have yet to meet. To that end we have set aside the summer months of June and July to welcome those men in the community who may be looking for a musical outlet; or would just like to learn more about our uniquely American style of singing which began in the late 19th century, well before radio and TV, not to mention the more recent the more recent forms of streaming and mega concerts. If you have ever played and instrument, or sung in an ensemble, choir or chorus, you might enjoy spending an evening or two with us. Not that this experience is required, it's just that the joy you had pursuing other forms of music may be recaptured singing Barbershop Harmony. So, please consider joining us in song this summer, who knows, you might enjoy it? At a minimum, you'll have a musical experience.
